TOBBY SPORTS: FIFA 18 FASTEST PLAYERS – AUBAMEYANG CLAIMS TOP SPOT AS CITY AND LIVERPOOL ATTACKERS RACE UP THE RANKINGS
Posted on September 16, 2017
Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is once again rated as the fastest player in FIFA 18.
EA Sports has released a list of the top 20 fastest players in this year’s game, and some of the players who have made a strong start to the new season have risen up the rankings.
Aubameyang was also the fastest player in the game in last year’s instalment, after booting Theo Walcott off the top spot from the year before.
In terms of actual rating, his pace of 96 is equal to that of Frenchman Jonathan Biabiany, however, Aubameyang is listed in the top spot. There are stats to do with overall pace which are not listed on the Ultimate Team cards, and it’s likely that Aubameyang’s are higher in this case.
Rather than Walcott, another Arsenal man is close to the top of the list, with Hector Bellerin coming in third with a pace of 95.
Two silver players are in the number four and five spots, and may be of interest to Ultimate Team players who build lower rated teams for use in Silver Tournaments. Mathis Bolly and Ernest Asante both have a pace rating of 95.
Other notable names in the list include Gareth Bale, who is at No 7 with a pace of 94. Manchester City’s Leroy Sane is also on 94, but comes in one place below. City’s Raheem Sterling is the only Englishman on the list, in 17th with a pace of 93. Liverpool also have two speedy players in the top 20, with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah in 13th and 16th place respectively.
The FIFA 18 demo is currently live ahead of the full game’s worldwide release date on September 29.
