Writing on his Instagram last night, the ‘Soldier’ rapper informed fans that he has made peace with the older rapper, and this comes days after a messy feud that started a heated debate on social media.
In case you missed it: Falz called out artistes he said are endangering the future of the youths by encouraging fraudulent activities through their music, and he cited a line from 9ice’s single ‘Living Things’ to drive his point home.
The video stirred outrage and 9ice replied him shortly after. “It’s not about promoting fraud, so to speak. It’s about one who wakes up in the morning needs to go and work and earn a living. It’s not negative, it’s positive,” 9ice said, adding, “You just have to be in that realm to understand what the song is all about.”
Fans of both rappers took to social media to lend their support for their faves, and it, as usual, resulted in intense arguments that may have cost some people beneficial relationships.
Now Falz says there was never a war, and 9ice concurred on the video he shared on his page. “Settled,” he said.
Now, Falz makes peace with 9ice and we wonder if those social media friends who fought bitterly over their faves will make peace, too.
