GOOD NEWS: ATL HALL MADE TO PAY 50,000 GHC to bail executives

We broke the news of the war between two great halls in the university of cape coast last week.
The Atlantic Hall took to their Facebook page to try and exonerate themselves!

Prior to the Cultural and Heritage Night last week, our Senior Hall Tutor (together with the Hall President) went to the Dean’s office. They went there to explain to the Dean of Students our program is just for the students and our Alumni. They explained to the Dean of Students no other Hall (from any campus) was invited for the program; but other halls might come because that has always been the tradition.
They therefore requested that there should be security personnel to make sure nothing happens during and after our program. We were made to pay an amount of GHS2,000 for Police/UCC Security Men to come and do ‘their job’.
These men never showed up before the program as arranged. And when Oguaa Hallers started throwing the stones, they came after a while….And they started firing warning shots at Mariners (who actually requested for their services) and ignored the people throwing stones.

After all these, our hall executives and planning committee members have been arrested and made to sign a GHS50,000 bail bond to assist the police in investigations.

What at all has ATL done to these people???

Well it’s good news the police are doing their jobs! What do you think?
