Anthony Joshua will fight Wladimir Klitschko in a world heavyweight championship unifier on April 29 at Wembley Stadium, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Joshua will defend his IBF belt, which previously belonged to Klitschko, while the vacant WBA ‘super’ title will also be up for grabs. Moments after Joshua (18-0) brutally dispatched Eric Molina within three rounds, legendary former unified champion Klitschko (64-4) climbed into the ring to confirm the announcement. The 19th fight of Joshua’s pro career now promises to a stunning occasion, as the former IBF, WBA and WBO title-holder Klitschko visits the national stadium.
The fight is part of an already great 2017 of boxing on Sky Sports Box Office, with David Haye taking on arch rival Tony Bellew on 4 March at London’s O2 Arena.
